These striking artworks are original Australian black velvet paintings by Martinus in the late 1950s to early 1960s. They were very skillfully painted and depict an Aboriginal child, laughing and crying.
These artworks are framed in craved wooden frames, which have a patina due to age. The paint and velvet are in great vintage condition (as pictured).
