Up for offers are these Pair of (2) Antique 19thC Meissen Floral Painted Reticulated Basket Bowls. This pair of bowls were made by Meissen during the 19thC in Germany. The bottom of each is signed with the Meissen crossed swords mark that was used since 1815. The sides of the bowls are reticulated with gold accents on the inside and on the outside bottom and top rims. By the lime green twisted handles beautifully formed Meissen flowers in pink, yellow, blue, lavender and orange with sage green leaves decorate the outside and inside. The center of one bowl has a raised lattice design with a floral spray of pink, orange, lavender, deep blue with sage green flowers on a white background. The other bowl has a very similar floral design with flowers in the colors of yellow, purple, pink, blue, lavender and orange with sage green leaves. There are a few insects on both centers of the bowls. Each piece stands 4 5/8\" in height, 11\" in length, and is 9 5/8\" in width. The bodies of the bowls are in great condition with no chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs but the some of the flowers and leaves that wrap around the handles have small chips to their tips which is very minor and hard to notice.
