This is a pair of multi-layer three dimensional carved panels. The figures are carved in front of an openwork panel. The carvings are so detailed that the characters\' emotions are shown clearly.The panels are in the original color of wood.
Condition:There are some small chips and hairline cracks due to age. One of the figure\'s hands has been repaired. Some parts on the sides have been repaired. One of the metal rings on the top for hanging is broken.(ref # 760)
