Special note: see our other listings for another pair of doors that match these. The four doors are a matched set of \"four seasons\" doors with the cherubs near the bottoms of the glass representing the seasons. Since many people are looking for pairs of doors and the designs of these doors make them very usable as pairs, we are selling them in pairs.
This matched pair of etched glass doors is from France and date to the late 1800\'s/early 1900’s. As you can see, the beautiful scenes on them are matched and complimentary. The cherubs in the crests represent summer and fall. They are unusually pretty when backlit and could make spectacular wall hangings or room dividers or use them as they are for doors. The glass is in very good antique condition with no cracks or scratches. There is a slight stain in the etched glass panel on the right, but it is only noticeable when brightly lit (see photos). The wood frames are solid and straight (not warped in any way). There is minor damage to the woodwork and paint from their many years of use (see photos), but nothing that affects the structural integrity. Dimensions: each door is 98\" high, 37\" wide and 3.25\" thick.
