This sale features a Pair of Antique Marion Bronze Clad \"Kitten on Hassock\" Cat Bookends. In EXCELLENT condition overall, with very minor wear on ears and tail tip (see photos) but nothing detracting. Very rare, made by Marion Bronze of Metuchen, NJ. No maker\'s mark (these would have had foil labels on the bottoms) but this set does appear in a reprint of a Marion Bronze catalogue under the title, \"Kitten on Hassock.\"
6 1/2 inches tall; base is 4 5/8 by 4 5/8 inches. And pretty heavy at 3 1/2 pounds EACH PIECE
