Woven Cotton Fabrics.Description:
These incredibly charming textiles were woven in cotton and wool in early 19th century France.
The design features a set pattern of embroidery-like stems of flowers along with small geometric motifs woven over a lovely subtle stripe.
The colors are red, blue, green, olive and terra cotta on a cream and light tan colored ground.
The first fabric measures 22 1/2 inches in width by 38 inches in length.
The second fabric measures 22 1/2 inches in width by 39 inches in length.These medium to heavy weight fabrics would make wonderful curtains!
They would also be ideal for pillows, patchwork or other sewing projects!Condition:
This is antique fabric.
Both pieces have some light surface dirt and spots/stains.
There are also areas where the stitches are worn away and creases at the tops and bottoms from when they were once hemmed.
