Here is a PHENOMENAL Fine Pair of late 19th-early 20th century Antique French Sevres Type Cobalt Blue Bronze Mounted Handpainted Porcelain Champleve Vases with Handpainted Watteau Scenes. Features hand painted Watteau scenes in cartouches on each side and gilt decorated porcelain. Wonderful handpainting! The bases are made of alabaster and are finished with bronze plates on the bottom. Both the bronze neck and the foot are decorated with beautiful Champleve enameling. The courting scene on each vase is signed \"Geo. Rochette\" EXCELLENT Condition as shown. Signed on the bottom of each bronze plate on the base, \"France.\"Size of each is 14 1/2 inches high.This came out of an old estate in Western Pennsylvania.
