A pair of Japanese Cloisonné enamel hexagonal vases by Hayashi Chuzo Kodenji Workshop, Meiji period.
Marks: (Character mark to underside).
Measures: 12 inches high (30.5 cm).
Each vase decorated with a large hawk perched on blossoming branches of prunes and wisteria, above various flowers and autumn gasses including iris, chrysanthemum and kikyo, each with a band of lappets to neck and foot.
