Important Pair of 18th Cent. Porcelain Chinese Export Vases.
Grey Glass with Medallion in Orange, Blue and Gold Trim with Floral Handles.
(MISSING Top Finial covers, once depicted Seated Female Figure.)
Imported about 1790 by Thomas Cornell Pearsall who was a ship owner in New York at the time.
These Vases were on Exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York during 1947-48. (see last two photos)These pieces are heirloom estate pieces.
They were originally acquired by an Antique Store Owner 75 years ago and have remained preserved in storage untouched since that business closed 50 Years back.Base- 4\"SQ.
10\"W x 7\"D x 15\"HCONDITION:Incredible condition for being 1790\'s era. Some loss of Gold Gilt, Some damage to porcelain flower arms.
