A Vintage pair of Silver engraved Napkin Rings, madeeven more unique by being hallmarked in 1920 from the Chester Assay, which wasclosed in 1962 seeing the end of the use of the distinctive Three Wheatsheaves & Sword mark.

Dimensions : approx. 40mm diameter x 22mm wide

Weight : approx. 17.0grm

A NapkinRing is a cylindrical piece designed to hold a napkin or serviette neatlyon the dining table, the Silver form said to be an invention of the Frenchbourgeoisie around the 1800’s. Pairs of Napkin Rings were often given as giftsat Weddings or for Silver Wedding celebrations, often embellished with Creststo identify the owner.
