This scraper was found in the plateau of Thebes, one of the earliest sites where such items were found. Probably collected by the explorer Georg Schweinfurth, famous for his journey to the Bahr el-Ghazal ans Uele basins in 1868-1871, where he conducted biological, geographical and anthropological investigations.
