A very nice and rare postcard of
Nazareth
The image was taken by Armenian photographer J.H. Halladjian in the early \'900
Halladjian was an Armenian photographer, apparently form Haifa, active in Palestine at the end of the 19 century and beginning of 20 century. Very few sample of his work are extant. A large panoramic of the Old City of Jerusalem taken from Mount of Olives exists in the PEF collection, and dates from 1901-10. ( for more information see: Yeshayahu Nir: The Bible and the Image)
Conditions: good with some wear on edges. very small tear in upper part of picture, not affecting image
