Metal Paperweight

Est. size 3 1/2\" x 1 3/8\" x 1 1/2\" Weight Est. 6 oz.

This is out of a collection, and would be early 1900\'s, actually most of the pieces are in the turn of the century. This has the paper number (of the persons own collection)48 still taped on the base. There is a felt cover on base. I don\'t know the metal, but can see base is sort of brushed (saw on the larger one also listed today). Great detail over all and while may show age just a bit is in great condition. There is a chip on the back of the Duck and small ones on his head. Around base where used the most are jigger bites. Most of these paper weights like this are beat to heck, this is very good and would be a rare and neat item to any collection.(also listing a smaller one)

Listing a few of my Antique/Vintage Paper Weights from a collection I purchase over 20+ years ago. Each at one time had a paper number that the collector had marked, some are there (Not important) and some have come off. All are neat, Antique/very Vintage. Love those that are advertising pieces extra special.

Damaged/Shipping:

·Time to Time shipping damagehappens. As a seller I will do everything I can to help get refunds/claimdamage returned to my buyers. Pleasenote this will take time and more work on my part, but I am a seller and thisis one of my responsibilities with each and every client. BUT buyers can make this easier for both of us. This is most important withglass items/breakables. Do this from all sellers.

·When item is delivered, give the box a small shake-can you hear breakage/damage— IF SO do not accept the delivery (refuse) and have them send it back to sender. If you’re not at home, still check before you open (small shake) -- don\'t open it-take to post office and again tell them you refuse-shipment-Post office will sentback without cost IF notopened. If a problem with clerkask for the post master! Seller is the only one that can make the claim (not /Seller’s rules–they are the post office rules and most all shippers). This is the reason sellers will state thatthey will not pay for damaged return shipping – those costs most times happen because the box has beenopened. The postal clerk will makenotes; they received and then ship back to me. I then, will go to the postoffice, where they will open at that time, make notes and I will file theclaim. NOTE: With (doesn’t matter if we had insurance for more money)shippers, all of them, will ONLYpay the amount that client (buyer) paid for the item –I will need to fill out forms, give themthe copies of the sale (prove of the value) and shipping costs. Again only costshipping to buyer. Most times this takes about 2 months, last problem I had was3 trips to post office, 2 calls to their main damaged claims office (in St.Louis) and 3 months before they sent me a check, which I then transferred theamount back to my client. They lost the first set of paper work, found out onone of the calls to claim center. I pack super well (don’t want the problemsfor either of us) but as we have seen at times, the delivery services don’talways handle items the way they should have been handled.
