You are offerding on a Passover Haggada rich in Jewish Holocaust History. As is explained below about the camp itself, this hagada was printed in the Fernwald camp between 1945-1948 to strengthen the spirits of the newly liberated concentration camp survivors. (On the cover are the words Yaffa Fernvald in Hebrew).

This Hagada has gone through the hands of one of the survivors of the Shoa, who later came to Israel; and the person who will be using it on this coming Pessach will perhaps feel the spirit of those days as he/she holds this haggada in their hands as they recite the lines: \"In every Generation they rise up against us...\". Imagine the memorable experience you will have as you hold such a personal testament in front of your family & guests as you relive the Exodus of our going forth from Egypt...and more recently Nazi Germany! Perhaps this is why the printers used an illustration on the back cover of this Hagada of the Western Wall and Jerusalem, to remind us that our Redemption will not arrive till we all long for and go to Jerusalem!

CONDITION: Some wine stains (outside cover only)spilled, some of it undoubtedly in the DP camp and later on in liberated Palestine -Israel! Next year in Jerusalem! A true piece of history that will make your Seder table come alive! Minor scuffing.Very RARE and hard to come by anywhere on the net. I have seen this Haggada go for a$200+ estimate in Judaica sales in recent years.
