The original dating approximately at 510BC is in the National Museum inAthens. On the one side you can see Paris of Troy and Helen. On the other sideyou can see Heracles and Nike.Red-figure vasepainting is one of the most important styles of figural Greek vase painting. Itdeveloped in Athens around 530 BC and remained in use until the late 3rdcentury BC. It replaced the previously dominant style of Black-figure vasepainting within a few decades. Its modern name is based on the figuraldepictions in red colour on a black background, in contrast to the precedingblack-figure style with black figures on a red background.It was Handmade in Greece, height isapproximately20 inches.Our clayitems are Hand painted and not fastly made, nor are they cheaply made ofsubstitute materials such as resin.
