GENERAL CONDITION;Excellent, NEAR MINT. Dates from the late 1940s.There are no scratches or cracks anywhere. It has been gently hand polished to bring out the natural shine. In full working order, having been professionally serviced (disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, new diaphragm fitted, reassembled and write tested).
CAP;Rolled Gold. TWO VERY MINOR (barely visible) DENTS BLOW THE CLIP, SLIGHT PLATING LOSS AT BASE OF CAP otherwise in mint condition. Gold plated Parker \"blue diamond\" arrow clip in excellent condition - nice and tight. Grey cap jewel in place. Has \"PARKER MADE IN CANADA 1/10 12K GOLD FILLED\" written along the bottom of the cap.
BARREL;Shiny CEDAR BLUE (At least I think it\'s cedar blue anyway! - a sort of dark greeny blue colour) resin. Has been gently hand polished to return the natural shine. No cracks dents or scratches. Same for section hood. Nice shiny cap ring.
NIB;MEDIUM 14K GOLD HOODED NIB - please see writing sample - nice moderately wet line. Lots of iridium tipping, in good condition.
FILLER;Vacumatic - just place in ink unscrew blind cap push rod a few times to suck up ink - in good condition. Has been professionally restored -disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, new diaphragm fitted, reassembled and write tested
