PARKER 61 INSIGNIA FOUNTAIN PEN - ROLLED GOLD CAP & BARREL.:

This is a Parker 61 Insignia fountain pen which comprises a Rolled Gold cap and barrel. The pattern consists of vertical lines and plain bands. The pen dates from the 1960\'s and has a capped length of 13.5cm.

There are no barrel imprints and the hooded 14K nib has a Medium tip. It can be seen that there is a Gold arrow shape just above the nib.

The cap has the usual arrow clip and the pearl clip screw matches the pearl screw at the end of the barrel. There is an imprint, near to the mouth of the cap, which reads \'Parker 61 Made in England 61\'. There is also a small shield which conveys the information that the pen is 1/10 12ct Rolled Gold.

The pen is in very good condition with just a small ding on the cap - otherwise OK. The trim is very good and the nib is excellent.

The pen has been used as a cartridge filler so there is no converter in situ. I have, however, established that it works OK and writes well.

This is a handsome Parker 61 in good condition and fully functional. I\'m sure that the buyer will be pleased with it but, as always, a full refund will be offered if he/she is not completely satisfied with the purchase.
