Selling a beautiful piece of (possibly) Paterson, NJ ephemera. This late 1890\'s calendar holder is from A. H. Knapp & Co. Height of the advertising is about 7 1/4\". Width is around 6 3/4\". The size of the album page is approximately 13\" by 9 1/2\". This magnificent advertising calendar holder is much prettier than it appears in my poor photos. Details and shading are crisp and intricate. THE PAPER PAGE IS EXTREMELY FRAGILE WHILE THE FAR SUPERIOR QUALITY CARDBOARD EMBOSSED CALENDAR HOLDER IS STRONG AND STURDY. It appears that a person could gently bend back the page paper and have it come away from the back of the calendar, except at the places where there is paste. This would make the front appear as if it had never been put in the album, and allow you t see some or all of any printing which might be on the back. Pick up in Pompton Plains, NJ or will ship at buyer\'s expense via parcel post with lots of padding.
