This is for a nice example of a vintage art deco pencil pendant fashioned in the form of the famous King Tutankhamen. It dates to the early 1900s when the tombs were being discovered and there was a great interest in all things Egyptian. The pencil has a \'magic\' action, in that you pull back on the top and the nozzle moves out the other way from the bottom to extend it in two directions. The pencil is covered in variouscoloured enamel insets and it displays beautifully. These look fabulous when worn as a pendant and it comes fitted with a bale to allow this if you wish. It is invery good condition as you can see, and itsfully working, both extending out smoothly and propelling lead when the nozzle is turned.It measures40mm when closedand 80mm when fully extended.
