What a find. From the 1950\'s by George Bares, a Madison Avenue advertising illustrator. The dealer that sold these to me noted George was a WPA artist but I can not find an inclusive list of those artists and there were over 6,000 of them. This is about 22.25\" x 18.75\". From a cache of work I bought on this artist that goes back to the 1920\'s. Not signed, some foxing and dark spots are from glue the artist used. May be done in mixed media namely crayon and tempera. This is an original artwork done for Pepsi and about 60 years old.
