For sale is a pair of Revolutionary War era coin silver spoons made by Peregrine White (1747-1834). He was in business from 1767-1774 in Boston, MA, and from 1774-1810 in Woodstock, CT. They measure about 5 3/8\" long and together weigh 17 grams. They are both monogrammed \"ZB\". There\'s some very minor dents/bends in the bowl from age/use. Use pictures for condition. Some other interesting information about the maker (quoted from genealogywebsite),\"He was a namesake and direct descendant of the first white child born in Cape Cod Harbor in 1620. He was a silversmith and clock maker, also a maker of surveyor\'s compasses.\"
