These little mice have been around for many years although the business could still be called a cottage industry since all the pieces are made by the Petersens themselves and a few members of their staff.You can see by the low number that this piece was an older one. It was retired in 1996. This is the kind of adorable piece that made this line so desirable and collectible.
This little guy is striking a patriotic salute. He is just a little \'chunky\' (as are many of Annette\'s designs) making him look so squeezable.If you look closely, you can see that he has a firecracker in his back pocket!He had been displayed by an adult collector in a dust free curio away from sunlight. There are no chips, scratches, fading, or repairs.He is mint and will come in an original box.
