Nicely preserved for being well over 130 years old! Complete in two volumes with all illustrations and foldouts.

Gilt lettering andornamentationto boards and spines looks great overall with just some light rubbing; gilt titling to the spines reads nicely from the shelf. Page edges are clean overall with just gentle soiling from age and light spotting. Nicely preserved overall! Aworthyaddition to any collection!

Internally these volumes are quite sound.

The text block itself is in VERY GOOD condition throughout both volumes. Pages show light toning from age but are exceptionally crisp and clean for their age
