Regretfully parting with some of my own extensive Model Horse collection - most of these horses hand-picked from our stocklines or by a fellow collector in the US who was finding them for me. The Peter Stone Horses are no longer released in large numbers and becomingalmost impossible to source these days, as the Stone factory now only producesvery limited runs, OOAK and factory customized models, which sell at high prices.Not many Stone models came into Australia (there was never a distributor here)– R&K Farm Toys brought in a few models from retailers in the US to fulfillcustomer requests, vary our stocklist or add to our own collection! Always quite pricey, especiallywith exchange rate in the 90s/early 2000s, most of these models are offered atwell below original cost.PETER STONE ARABIAN - \"Zee Sandy Bay aka Scout\" - portrait of a champion reining horse. Shaded red bay with star, snip, 3 socks and white spot on R hip. This is a \"wrong socks\" variation - real horse (and most models) had 2 front socks and L rear sock with ermine spot; this model has 2 hind socks and left front only. Shelf displayed in a smoke-free home, has no flaws, damage, chips, scratches or other marks that I can find; all of these horses have minor factory imperfections but this is a very good example and a beautiful model. Stands steady unaided on flat surface. Measures 28cm long and 25cm high.
