ANTIQUE MINIATURE JEWELRY OR DRESSER BOX
Charming and petite antique molded metal dresser or jewelry box measuring only 1-7/8\" wide by 1-1/4\" tall. Featuring a dainty round shape, it sits on four little foot tips and is decorated with trailing floral Forget-Me-Not florals with a simple branch design on the dome lid. Dating to the turn of last century, lid is hinged, and box no longer retains the original silk lining or under padding.
Condition is very nice with loss to most of the original ormolu gold finish leaving trace amounts within the floral petals - color is warm bronze - no bends, rust or damage - a bit of play in the hinge from design. Petite and feminine, it is the perfect size for a special piece of jewelry - lovely in any vanity display, especially with a group of petite boxes!
