Petite Victorian Back Plate with Shell Design:

Rescued from an old home being demolished. This very ornate back plate is a light weight metal. The back plate has a silvery color metal with the spindle ring being brass. Magnet doesn\'t attach. There is remains of paint on the ornate shell embossed pattern, otherwise it is perfect. Very classy looking. It measures 3 5/8\" long.
There are no markings.
