For your consideration, and exceptional looking and functioning Phase Linear 400 Series Two amplifier. This amplifier is extremely clean both inside and out (see pictures). The amplifier was recently gone through by Ed Blackwood, a Washington state based Phase Linear expert. The amplifier has been returned to factory specifications, and should be trouble free for many years to come. Ed made the following updates:

Replaced twelve XPL909 output transistors with twelve TP9504 transistors
Replaced one of the 5,900UF capacitors.
Replaced two 7.5K 2W resistors
Replaced two 47UF 35volt capacitors with Nichicon 47UF 100V capacitors
Replaced two 1.8K
Replaced two 5K trimpots with two 1K trimpots
Replaced two 100UF 6.3 volts with Nichicon 100UF 6.3V
Disassembled and cleaned the volume pots
Installed two eight pin IC sockets
Replaced two LF356 with two output: 210 watts per channel into 8Ω (stereo)
Frequency response: 12Hz to 40kHz
Total harmonic distortion: 0.09%
Damping factor: 1000
Input sensitivity: 1V
Signal to noise ratio: 110dB
Speaker load impedance: 4Ω (minimum)
