I got this probably 20 years ago or so in a large political lot of paper items so I am not sure if this is vintage or what. It seems like photography paper so it may not be as old as what I thought. This is very cool and says W T Sherman and then says General WilliamT. Sherman. It says Photo by Anthony and Eng. by J.C. Buttre N.Y.. This is 8 X 10 inches, did notice small light spot in lower right corner, but overall a pretty cool military photo of Sherman. Kind of grew up learning that his name was a swear word in the south, but read an interesting article a year or so ago that said right after the war not so much but kind of changed over the next couple of decades. Anyway, someone may find this interesting. Thanks for looking. Forgot to mention please ignore the black sheet underneath, it was temporarily stuck but not part of this sale.
