Welcome to our autumn stereoview sales. We are offering around 130 views which are the best and most interesting that we have found since our last sales in 2015. This sale is for a view from the highly collected Pierre Joseph Rossier Views in China series taken for Negretti and Zambra in 1858. It is titled \'88. Canton. Joss in the Temple of Longevity. We are also offering in these sales two views by Rossier of Japan. Please see our other sales for those. The mount of this view is a bit tired and creased round the edges but the images are fine. #86, an external view of this temple, can be found for sale on the net for $428.
