Back in the \"good ole days\",publishers normally burned or discarded such production art once the comic went to print. This is the actual acetate film, stats made directly from the original art onto a clear sheet of acetate, which could be revised or overlayedwith additional sheets containing color, backgrounds, text elements, etc, to create the desired image. I betthese would look awesome if used on an overhead projector, and projected onto a white wall or movie screen!
