Since 1995, F.O.P. Lodge D.C.#1. host lodge for National Police Week activities held annually in Washington, D.C., has offered unique custom die struck badges and pins memorializing those who have made The Supreme Sacrifice in the performance of duty and commemorating the event. Starting in 2007 a challenge coin has also been offered. The 2016 coin is a 2\" diameter coin with five pierced openings. This coin depicts the statuary located at the northeast corner of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and a portion of the east Memorial wall. On the reverse side, the Fraternal Order of Police logo is depicted in three colors of hard enamel. This coin is a full 5/16\" (8mm) thick at its center section and 1/8\" (4mm) at its outer circumference giving it a substantial weight and feel.
