Stunning Portuguese figurine from the 1940\'s. Portuguese girl with basket and an umbrella. Made from a plaster of Paris material, painted over with a white matt slip, hen finished with a few colored enamel details. Maker\'s rage reads:

Minor Age related flaking to the white slip-type paint, showing the pinkish clay paste. This girl probably once had another basket under her right arm. The attachment point on her right hip appears as if the second basket broke off.
No cracks or other damages, she is in good overall condition with intact makers tag on bottom.
Very rare figurine that will make any collector proud to own it!!
