We are offering for sale a simply stunning silver stirrup cup in the form of a French Bulldog\'s head.

This drinking cup is cast and despite its small size, it has an extremelyheavy weight.This cupstands steadily on its snout and ears, but it is in the hand that the quality exudes - it fits the cupped hand perfectly and has a really chunky feel.

Stirrups cups were designed for use on hunting trips and were often modelled as foxes, hunting hounds, deer etc, but this is the first time we have encountered a French bulldog. It is superbly modelled and has a great expression. Please see final photo for a real life example.

As this cup will stand upright on a table,it could also be used around the home as a spirit tumbler for whisky, brandy, cognacor a tot for such drinks as tequila, vodka etc.

The cup bears the name \"Puddock of Quatt\" discreetly hidden amongst the fur.\"Puddock\" was presumably the name of the dog on whom the model was commissioned and Quatt is a small village in Shropshire, England.
