Here for sale is this superior pair of very fine Continental porcelain figures! He\'s playing a horn and she appears to be reading sheet music. Made of very fine and dense Continental porcelain, they have beautiful bocage backgrounds, and scroll bases. They are very colorfully handpainted, and the detail is very good. All strand painted hair and individual fingers. They are apparently unsigned/unmarked. I\'m quite sure these are German, circa mid 19th C. Probably Dresden or Sitzendorf province, but not confirmed. They have some slight loss to the floral bocage flowers. He is missing the tip of his flute, and she has a small to the paper in her hand. Otherwise, these are in very good condition.
