Primitive pre-history stone axe-head, found in the Chimbu province of the Papua New Guinea highlands. Heavy weighted stone of dark charcoal color; very strong. Excellent specimen. This is no replica and I would say \"museum quality\" like someone else\'s description.
It measures 4 1/2 inches at the longest point (back to front) by 3 inches at the end of the blade (top to bottom). I took repeat photos so we has to remove shadowing.
