M1910 Seamless Canteen--1914-1917 Variant

Originalpre-WW1 M1910 canteen, seamless aluminum body with domed aluminum lid [this style of lid was introduced in 1914], nickel plated brass chain and threaded neck section. Canteen body is slightly more flask-shaped than those with the vertical seam. Unit marked at base of neck 144 E 210 [possibly 144th Infantry Regiment, 36th Division, Texas National Guard--canteen was found in the Houston area about 30 years ago].No manufacturer markings or dates but the seamless canteens were made by Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Co. [AGM Co.]--the company switched to the standard welded seam type body in 1917. Several very minor dents which do not affect appearance. Cork gasket inside lid is missing. Nice early variant of the M1910 canteen for any US mess gear/eagle snap gear/Punitive Expedition collection and is infine condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
