This is a very high quality reproduction holster for the US military Colt 1902 .38 auto pistol; The 1911\'s grand pappy. If you know anything about them, you already know the original holsters for these are rarer than unicorns. I have only seen one original and it was not for sale. I had this exact reproduction made by El Paso Saddlery Co and took six months to arrive. It is made specifically for the Colt 1902 with 6 inch barrel, not made for the army revolvers. Constructed very similarly to the M1917 revolver holsters. Leather loop for attaching to your pistol belt. Very nice and proper holster. It has some light scuffs and wear. A bit more and it will look better (not so new and shiny).
