The blade is scratched with some oxidation. A good polish may help. Blade is decorated and on one side marked with U.S. One side of the hilt is set with a 11 MM in diameter TURQUOISE stone inside an engraved six point star. It is not marked as to maker, but information was received to identify. The sword single edge is not blunted but at the same time is not very sharp. All the following measurements are approximate. The total length in scabbard is 34.5 INCHES, the blade length measured from hilt to tip is 28 INCHES and the scabbard itself is 29 INCHES long. It will make a great addition to your military collection or an excellent piece for historical display.
