I don\'t know anything about the grading system of this brand, though, a Grade 3 is mentioned and shown on the pipephil link above and another link is there, which described more in-depth of various grades.

This pipe has very nice woodgrain and if you read the fascinating story about Preben Holm and how he got started, like all the rest, one can have such an appreciation of this pipe. It\'s such a tragedy that he lived such a short life. One can only ponder how many more beauties he could have given to the pipe world, and the world of art, overall.

As this pipe has been used, it will need to be reamed, cleaned and sanitized. It\'s quite cleanas is, though.Selling \"As Is\" and this sale is only available to buyers in the USA and US Territories. There is a nick in the wood at the 2:00 position of the upper part of the bowl. Please see last picture. It\'s there, though, it appears much larger in picture, as it\'s superimposed.Nomenclature on bottom sideof this pipe says,\"Preben Holm, Hand Cut, Copenhagen, Denmark.\" Left side of pipe has nomenclature of encircled \"3.\" Mouthpiecehas tooothmarks, though, these are not holes by any means.Mouthpiece is twistoff lind and aligns fine when attached. Nomenclatureis very good to excellentand I do not need a magnifying glassto view it.This pipe measures7inches from endto end when measured frombottom partin a straight line. The bowl widthis1 of an inch frominner portions of bowl when measured from left to right.Theheightof this pipe is 2.25 inchesfrom top of bowl to lowest point.
