Founding Father and President, James Monroe issuedland grant for 160 acres of land in the Missouri Territory. Most likely, secretarial signed at top and initialed at the bottom of the document.

Issued to Luther Stivers, Private in Rochester Company, 29th Infantry, for 160 acres in Missouri on January 4, 1819, for his service in the War of 1812.
