I have for sale a Presidential Campaign Ribbon used by President William H. Taft probably for the 1908 campaign & possibly used for the 1912 campaign as well. In the 1908 campaign Taft defeated Theodore Roosevelt and became out 27th president. In the 1912 campaign Taft lost to Woodrow Wilson. The ribbon looks to be silk, it is 6 by 1 15/16 inches and looks to be in as made condition but does have light fraying at the ends. The ribbon shows the bust of Taft in the center. Above the bust it shows two American Flags and reads FOR - PRESIDENT. Under the bust it has two branches tied together with a ribbon and then his name Wm H. TAFT.
