Two saint uze pitchers, antique french ceramic, circa end 19th century.
This is a very pretty decorative set from the famous producer Saint Uze.
They are well known for the use of the lovely cobalt blue stamped pattern. Based in the Drome region they produced pottery, particularly in the village of Saint-Uze.I believe these pitchers date from the late 1800s. they were painted stenciled using a rubber stamp, by hand.They are in good antique condition despiteone of them is slightly cracked in the bottom (it doesn\'t leak)Dimensions -

Je crois que ces pichets datent de la fin de 1800. ils ont sans doute été peints au pochoir en utilisant un tampon en caoutchouc, à la main.
