Hello and welcome to my sale! I really enjoy making these dolls and hope you enjoy them too!
This is one of my primitive style Bunnies I will be creating this year.To all my wonderful buyers I want to giveyou a huge Thank You! I have really enjoyed creating my Snowmen Dolls this past year and plan to begin collectingmore Antique & Vintage materials for next year! I do hope you enjoy my dolls this week! This sale is for a 20\" BunnyDoll made from tea dyed muslin. She has been firmly stuffed. Her features are hand embroidered and her whiskers are hemp. Her cheeks have been lightly blushed. Her black shoes have also been painted, baked and sanded. On the shoes I have sewn 2 little antique blue buttons with rhinestone centers. For her dress I used a piece from a beautiful antique quilt top from the 30s. The color are still quite vibrant. On the yoke I have sewn a vintage Rhinestone Heart Pin with blue stones. Under her dress she wears a vintage crinoline and under the Crinoline she wears bloomers, in a tea stained cotton print that looks very much like ticking. Over her dress she wears a vintage red wool jacket with 2 vintage buttons sewn on the lapel. She loves wearing her best for Valentine Day. For those of you that are familiar with my dolls you know that I love using Vintage Hats! I love this hat! Probably from the 40\'s and made of wool. I was able to re-size it to fix her head just right. It has bows around it made of the same wool as the hat. This is one of my favorite hats. She comes to you carrying her own little Valentine Pillow sewn from a cotton print of deep red with cream polka dots and onto which I sewed a rusty heart pinand little fabric blocks that spell LOVE. She has a second heart which is wood, has a hanger and says Love You More. She also carries a vintage Valentine calling card from the early 1900s that says Sweet dreams and glad awakenings be thine.. She is another OOAK (one of a kind) Doll created just for you!
I have really enjoyed creating this little Bunny Dollas I do all of my dolls. She comes dressed and ready for your home in time for Valentine\'s Day.
