\"Farmer Pete\"Description
Up for your consideration is this adorable handcrafted \"Farmer Pete\" Large Bunny.\"Farmer Pete\" made from a pattern by \"Barefoot Primitives\" that I changed just a tad. He turned out adorable!! He is made of muslin that has been grubbied in a mixture of coffee and vanilla, color-washed then baked in the oven til dry. He smells Yummy! His face has been painted using acrylic paint and his nose is needle sculpted. His ears and his arms have chenille stems so they are pose-able. He is dressed for work in his bib overalls. On the back of him he has a large fluffy tail.I dry brush shaded the ears, tummy, and his feet and hands with antique white paint. I also dry brushed black on some areas of his body to imitate him being a little dirty after a hard days work. I have sewn 2 rusty jingle bells on the straps of his overalls to imitate buttons. I also have sewn a tiny jingle bell on the corner of each pocket. I also added some whiskersusing quilting thread.This adorable bunny measures 14 inches tall to the top of his head (not including ears), and 8 1/2 inches wide including his hands.He would make a great addition to your primitive/ Easter decor and would look great sitting on your favorite shelf or wherever you chose to display him.
