Very unusual 14\" handmade rag doll. I bought this in an sale with a lot of early toys. I believe he isn\'t as early as some primitive cloth dolls, but seems to date from the early 1900\'s. Part if him was obviously stitched on a machine but he also has hand stitching.

His face is hand-painted in oils.

Overall good condition. Some minor, light staining to the fabric.
