Back by popular demand is my Americana hoot owl.

I have created this owl by using a cotton Americana fabric. The upper part is a navy with white stars and the bottom portion is a red and white striped fabric with stars throughout. I have meticulously machine stitched this owl and stuffed him with polyester fiberfill.

Two scalloped eyes are created with osnaburg fabric and hand stitched. Eyes (scallop edges) have been hand stitched with a white crochet thread. Black buttons have been added as well as a mustard colored beak being hand stitched with embroidery floss.

I have grunged this owl in my special solution of coffee, cinnamon and vanilla and oven baked it for a prim perfection. A cotton string tie has been secured to the back side of this owl for ease in hanging.

This owl measures approximately 5 inches in height and four inches across at the widest part. The same fabric wraps around the backside.

I have added a little hang tag which reads, \"USA\" and is secured with a safety pin.

Add this owl to a seasonal tree, peg board or toss in your bowls and baskets. Perfect addition for the 4th of July or display him all year long.
