All the words were stitched with a burgundy floss. Then I added a green vine with red pip berries encasing the saying with two red hearts....one in the upper left corner, and the other in the lower right corner. This sampler will come to you without glass for that great old aged primitivie look, and will also include a hanger on the back. I have soaked the sampler in a coffee, then baked it in the oven for that grungy old look. The frame is made by my husband out of solid wood, then I do the rest! I paint it black then ruff it up for that old primitive look. The frame measures 9 1/4 x 7\".
