President Eisenhower and Vice-President Nixon were officiallyinaugurated the following day. Interior pages of the program includephotographs of Eisenhower and Nixon, an order of ceremonies, and lists ofpatrons and organizers. Performers at the 1953 Inaugural Festival included suchluminaries as Abbott and Costello, Ethel Merman, Ed Sullivan, John Wayne, theUnited States Amy Band, and the New York City Ballet.
