ITEM DESCRIPTION:This is a gorgeous 8x10\" matte finish photo of President George H.W. Bush and his wife, First Lady Barbara Bush. Bush is an American politician who served as the 41st President of the United States (1989–1993), as well as the 43rd Vice President of the United States (1981–1989). He is the oldest living former President and Vice President. He is also the last living former President who is a veteran of WWII. Both Bush\'s have personally hand signed this photo, not an auto-pen as many similar photos are. Barbara has signed in thin blue sharpie and George has signed in bold black. They signed this photo to be donated to a charity sale to raise money for library books. With the photo will come the original manila mailing envelope from his office. Highly uncommon.

In addition, the item is affixed with tamper proof JSA sticker #Y18479 (on reverse).

JSABasic Certificate of Authenticity ProcessEach item is methodically examined and reviewed individually by each of our authenticators to ensure their expert instinctive impressions are in agreement. This intuitive sense has been developed after many years of examining thousands of autographs. The expert is extremely familiar with many different variations and evolution of an individual\'s signature and can quickly identify irregularities evident in a clubhouse, secretarial, or forged signature. Second, the expert more closely examines each and every component and letter of an autograph, paying close attention to characteristics such as signature flow, style, spontaneity, letter angle, etc. In most cases, this process performed separately by each authenticator will quickly eliminate the vast majority of non-authenticate autographs. In cases where closer examination is required, James Spence Authentication employs a high-technology authentication tool to reinforce the expert\'s findings. The Video Spectral Comparator is a powerful workstation designed to examine questionable documents and autographs using sophisticated color and infrared imaging, magnification, coaxial lighting, side lighting, and on-screen, side-by-side or overlaid autograph comparisons. The VSC detects erasures, reveals masked and obliterated signatures, differences in ink types, and several other features useful for autograph forgery detection.

The authenticators then collaborate and employ a scoring system for the final determination of an item\'s authenticity. Certified items are then given a registration number and the tamper-evident label is applied to either the item itself or the Letter of Authenticity (customer preference).

Continental Shipping:

All items will be shipped very promptly, usually using Priority Mail services. I will ship as soon as I can, but visit the post office about 3 times a week. Items are shipped in plastic photo sleeves (very attractive durable hard plastic) and should not be bent or folded in transit. Items larger than photos are shipped in very heavy cardboard, while 11x14\" photos and posters are shipped in sturdy poster tubes. Great care will be taken in packaging your winning item as these items are 1-of-a-kind! I will combine purchases on photos, and am very willing to work with you on shipping in anyway (Express, UPS, FED-EX, etc.) Delivery confirmation is usually purchased on all items and will be added into database when item is shipped.

International shipping (Please read):

International shipping is done using either First Class International mail or Global Priority Mail. On packages valued at over $50, Registered Mail will be used for even more security. Even though I am a quick and reliable shipper, it is very hard to estimate arrival to different countries. I will provide a scanned customs # that will prove the promptness in my shipping, and assure you that your item has been mailed. After that, we both just need to wait it outand be patient. Please understand that sometimes packages mysteriously take months due to customs (very rare, but happens). If you are an international buyer and not willing to work with me, please refrain from offerding as I will have scanned proof that I mailed your item promptly, but can not control the time it takes to get there. I have had difficulty several times in the past with Italy, Mexico, and Spain holding packages, so please be aware a $10 extra charge will be added for Registered Mail for these countries.
