The bronze is very possibly made by Bergmann although it is not signed. It clearly is of the highest quality of Vienna Bronzes.It features the most wonderful pug - it is just adorable. The expression on the face is fantastic. The details are superb. The painting is wonderful. One of the very best Vienna Bronzes with everything we look for. This is an antique vienna bronze, not a new reproduction! It is unsigned. Please see our other sales for more early Vienna Bronzes from this collection.The pug is 3 inches (75 mm long) and 2 1/2 inches (63 mm) tall. There is no damage to the bronze. The paint is in fine period condition with minor loss as evidenced in the photos. The bronze is solid.
